The Story of the Reel Ale Festival
Where world-class craft beer, live music, and Big Bear’s biggest fishing weekend collide for a great cause.
The Event: Born of a love for Big Bear Lake and the incredible community surrounding the annual Fishin’ For $50K Trout Tournament, the Reel Ale Festival was created as the ultimate companion event.
We wanted to build a space where anglers, locals, and mountain visitors could gather after a long day on the water to swap stories, listen to great music, and drink world-class beer.
Our Partners: We are thrilled to partner with TackleMeet, the premier outdoor and tackle vendor curator, to build an immersive vendor village right on the festival grounds.
The Organizers: The Reel Ale Festival is proudly produced by the California Farmers Market Collective, a 501(c)(3) non-profit organization. We have spent years organizing community-driven farmers markets and large-scale events across the Inland Empire.
By attending the festival, you aren’t just having a great time — you are supporting a non-profit dedicated to bringing local vendors, small businesses, and communities together.
