Volunteer Waiver and Release of Liability

1. 1. Assumption of Risk I understand that volunteering for the Big Bear BBQ Festival or the Reel Ale Festival may involve physical activity, including standing for long periods, lifting (up to 25 lbs), and exposure to outdoor elements. I voluntarily assume all risks associated with my participation.
   2. Alcohol Policy (Strictly Enforced)
   • Age Requirement: I certify that if I am volunteering for any position involving the service or handling of alcohol at the Big Bear BBQ Festival or the Reel Ale Festival, I am 21 years of age or older.
   • Consumption: Volunteers are strictly prohibited from consuming alcohol while on shift. Any volunteer found to be intoxicated will be asked to leave the premises immediately.
   3. Media Release I grant the event organizers permission to use my likeness in photographs, videos, or other digital media recorded during the event for promotional purposes (including websites, social media, and print publications) without compensation.
   4. Medical Treatment I hereby release and forever discharge the event organizers from any claim whatsoever which arises or may hereafter arise on account of any first aid, treatment, or service rendered in connection with my activities as a volunteer.
   5. Standards of Conduct I agree to represent the festival in a professional and friendly manner. I understand that I am a representative of the community and agree to follow the directions of event staff and security at all times.
